HV20 manual hard to follow?

Am I the only one who finds the manual difficult to follow? I'm fairly sophisticated technically, but I think that the description of the camcorder's features is lacking, and there's almost no description of camera workflow.

IMO, this is an opportunity for someone to write a real user's guide.

I agree. I think it's to do with style, it doesn't quite offer enough information about how/why things work. A bit more description would be useful.

I suppose you could argue that if you have some background in videography you shouldn't need it or that if you are a new camcorder user that it might be too much information. But, considering that I've been in IT for 25 years and photography for even longer, I don't find the manual very accessible.
