I broke the LCD off of my HV20 by accident, but it still works as a play back deck for capturing to a computer. Going to sell it so any thoughts on what it would be worth? Thanks.

Move your thread to the "Trade and Exchange" section for you.
I was looking for a playback deck.. too bad HV30 is out. Otherwise I will consider buying it from you :)

Does it record video? Wouldn't no LCD interfere with playback and no recording?

what about an external screen via HDMI or component?

Ok did some testing. All the camera will do is allow for the computer to control it as a playback deck using the firewire cable. No controls on the camera work and it will not record or playback with the viewfinder.

have you had any responses? I would have no idea how much to pay for that.
How old is the device itself and how much has it been used?
£20/$40?

Do you still have it, and how much would you want for it?
