We are slowly getting more spammers registering, and immediately posting their slimy websites.
- Step one of the anti-spam measures is to start email verification, which now has been implemented.
Anyone registering (required in order to post) will now have to verify their email address.
- Step two will see an increase in moderators to faster take care of spam. This will probably happen within the next few weeks/months.
- Step three will see every new member being moderated first, and that will be implemented if the spamming continues.
Spamming will not be tolerated, and any spam message will be promtly dealt with.
In the meantime I ask every member to report suspicious posts or obvious spam using the REPORT POST feature (the little triangular warning sign underneath the user's name in each post).
Regards,
your friendly SPAM fighting team (of one)
