Hi all,
I've been researching regarding lens hood for hv20. I reaaaally liked cinetactics matteblox dv, but it seems you cannot use it unless you use the wide angle lens (WD-H43), which is limitating. Can anyone confirm if there's a way to use this hood on its own with the camera?

I wonder what other models/brands of lens hood are out there that you can confirm work ok (if they are available at b&h even better, as i plan to order from that store). What should i be looking for? what size/ring diameter?

I liked the cinetactics one, but haven't ordered, cuz I kinda want one made out of metal or good plastic instead of fabric.. I dunno why.. just do....

There a seller on eBay that has a few versions of a matte box (metal) that go for about $100.
Made in India.

(might get one myself one day, BUT haven't checked which works for HV20 with or without WA lens, so read descriptions carefully and ask SELLER questions to make sure it'll work/fit)

What lens hood brands are good? What diameter SIZE? 43mm?

Unfortunately i can't buy from ebay germany. A friend is going to the states, so i will order from a store there and have the camera sent to the place where he will be staying. That's why i need to order from B&H or similar. I haven't ordered ever from ebay USA, do you know some trustable camera equipment sellers there?
