ok im a bit confused on how this would work. can you have filters and still have the wide angle lense on the camera? or is it one or the other?
It's really one or the other.
Most wide angle lenses won't allow for filters, as there is the danger the cam will focus on the dust of the filter.
There's several folks here who were going to try and sandwich a filter in between the HV20 and the wide angle lens, but I have not heard any reports back, or seen any examples of that.
Using a filter before the wideangle lense can cause some unwanted edges in the picture.
If you are using manual focus, it is better to have a filter that fits outside the wide angle lense.
