nikon 35-70mm f2.8 on adapter

has anyone used this lense? wanted to start zooming on my adapter and thought this was the best idea.

Haven't used it, but looks like a push-pull lens. Would be hard to zoom and focus at the same time, as the overall length of the lens changes between focal length.
A bit more pricey, but perhaps the Nikkor 28-70mm F2.8 would be easier to work with.
