It is my great pleasure to announce you that we will be selling a Mattebox directly from this sub-forum to our fellow forumers!
We don't have much details to share yet, we're still working on it. But what I can tell you, is that it will be even more affordable than what you can find at the moment.
We should have the system ready to take orders by July.

I have this mattebox. I also have a 4x4 ClearWhite white balance filter (http://www.digitalphotographykits.com/)and this fits exactly in the filter tray. It allows you to set the WB by measuring incident light without disconnecting the camera from the mattebox.

You could also take out the filter tray and replace it with the Expoimaging Video Format Filter (http://www.expoimaging.com/product-detail.php?cat_id=1&product_id=17&keywords=ExpoDisc_Video_Format_Filter). The filter frame measures 4.25" x 6.25" from the very edges of the frame (excluding the top handle) and is 1/4 inch thick, so it should fit within the filter tray slot (according to my measurements; I didn't try it on!). However, this filter has a different price tag to it.

So this mattebox would attach to the raynox wide angle but not the lens xha1 hood that is attached to the raynox?

I've added the Mattebox on the first page in the categories (along with the DSLR acc. and the Lights section) and with the Acc section, there's the Table Dolly and the Follow Focus. No pictures available (except thumbnails) but I'm working on it with Mal.

I was probably working in the control panel, hence that problem!

So far it should work, at a certain point. There's still some option I can't access, so we'll have to wait on Mal to perform these operation. I think it starts to look great! =)

Same here. The very first link is, the words are jumbled together. When I mouse hover, it changes to "My Account".

Nice work Drapes. I've wanted to get a Mattebox, but they're soooo damned expensive and I don't know a lot about them. I need a rail system, don't I? Also, what kind of diameters are we looking at here since I have an HF11 and not an HV.

Nope. Not sold on the set yet. I think the sold out is just there as a place holder until the store gets rolling

UPS Ground, USPS Priority mail is the way to go.
