Upgraded to new software.

UNFORTUNATELY it messed with some custom templates, so I will have to change those again, once I get a minute. It will take me SOME TIME to get to it though, so my apologies in advance...

Search works again, though. So that is good.

I recommend in the meantime to SWITCH to "WHITE & BLUE" look on the bottom of the screen.

The search function works fine here.
There's a new line to separate the post title.
and I've been afraid when I clicked and saw that:

There's the buttons that are there, without being visible, but it'll eventually be fixed.

Why is the quick reply section gray/white/silver scheme?

Because I upgraded the software after an error prevented the search feature.
The software update overwrote the color scheme (I am traveling, so can't attend to it properly.)

In the green version, the "balloon" icons get crunched into the text.

BTW, the difference between "new posts" and "no new posts" icons used to be better, now, they're so pale that it's hard to see the difference.

The search feature in ALL forum software sUX eggs big time.
The only functional forum search I've ever found is http://www.google.com/advanced_search
add the specific URL hv20.com and then you have some really good control of specific phrases and words to omit.

However, I always read the forum by clicking "WHAT'S NEW?" which displays the latest posts on top:

That is also a 'search' and now works again...flawlessly.

Agreed. "What's New" is my go to for here and 1 other. Works great.
