need advice for fliming movie with HV30 and 7D

hello, long time reader, first time poster. This summer i hope to film my very first movie. It's a zombie movie. I own a HV30 and a 7D. I'm having a little problem deciding which one to use for the film. I am wondering if I should use both. The majority of the movie takes place inside a cabin and the last 15 or so minutes take place in the woods for a big chase scene. I'm thinking of using the 7D for the non action scenes and the HV30 for the action heavy scenes. I'm wondering though, if i use both, will it be obvious that i switched to a different camera? Do these two cameras go together well?

I would. They can be balanced pretty well, use custom settings on both - test before you shoot!

I use the hv40 and 60d which is the same... I am finding that the cinema profile picture style i bought for $19 goes great with hv tv mode, 25p, manual exposure, 50 shutter speed daylight wb, or use just neutral 60d and tv mode same as above on hv40 but set both cams to daylight white balance...For low light switch the hv to cinemode and the 60d neutral in auto and just cahnge the footage to match in post, its not that much to do its nearly there.... steve

I've been able to match both of them in post, low light situation, cinemode on the HV (with a DOF adapter on it!) and Image Effects set to custom with values set to minus (all of them). On the T2i, I'm pretty sure I was using the Technicolor profile:
