Need to shoot a Western...Any ideas?

i need to shoot a western for a class project and i do not know to much about that whole genre so any ideas?

i was thinking about making a parody of Spaghetti Westerns and actually do a western about spaghetti.

let me know what you think or other ideas.

The first thing that comes to my mind is to use very close close ups. And forbid the actors to shave for two weeks.
Use low camera standpoints.
