Hey everyone,

New to the forum and to the HV20 and looking for a 35mm adapter. I've been reading some of the posts here and was wondering if any of you have used the adapter from the following site: http://www.leetj.com/rng35/index.html

The price point is good. I'm guessing it's a rotating adapter from the pictures I can see.

Any user/unbiased opinions on it?

Thank you!

boomshack,

Thanks for the interest.

Actually it's a static adapter. If used correctly, you can get really nice, clear footage from a static adapter. On this clip (http://rng35.com/videos/xha1_rng35_test_01.mov), the RNG35 had a 72mm achromat which is every bit as good as the ones they sell with the competitors and about half the cost. It makes the screen very bright with almost no vignetting.

In 2008, I plan on coming out with both a vibrating screen and a flip device for it.
