Why does everyone say that HDV takes a lot of space? I have captured 1 hour of HD footage (HV20) and it is the same size as as 1 hour of SD MiniDv (about 13 gigs). I am capturing in FCP2 with the following settings:
Easy Setup
HD
HDV 1080i60 firewire basic
all rates
Is there a better or should I say a higher quality setting I should be using. My final output is to DVD.
