OK, here's part 2 of my mountain experience:

This is all shot in one afternoon in bright, bright sunlight. Very hard to get an even exposure as you will see.
First shot was exposed for the shady side of the rock my brother-in-law is climbing up. Everything else has blown-out highlights, or is plain blown-out.
When we're at the lake, the first couple shots are from a kayak.
Yes, I took my brand-new HV20 on a kayak.
Anyway, you will see that the first shot is pretty even, then I went under an overhang and re-exposed for that and the sky blew out. Then came back out, re-exposed and the overhang became dense shadow.
The last couple shots are just fun, with folks jumping off cliffs into the water. Note how well-exposed the bright yellow raft turns out. I was suprised, actually.
Same settings/edit workflow as my "Magic Hour" footage. Also the same music as before - doesn't fit this one so well. Oh, well.
