Rule 1:
NO IMAGE HOSTING ON EXTERNAL SERVERS.
Images for the games need to be ATTACHED to the post, and thus uploaded to our server.

Rule 2:
TWO GUESSES PER PERSON PER POSTED PICTURE!!! Those two guesses are not allowed to be in the same post, NOR in a consecutive post.
I.e. you can post one guess, then have to wait for someone else to post: your second guess is not allowed to be immediately following your first guess.

Rule 3:
The WINNER of the game can start a new game IN A NEW THREAD.
NO ONE ELSE (unless yielded so by the winner).

Rule 4:
Once there's a winner, PLEASE post the correct name into the thread (spelled correctly, and capitalized correctly, and not in italics or bold face.)

Rule 5:
The correct title format is: "Game" / space / "#" / number.
Example: " Game #12" (without the ")
(no space between the # sign and the number!)

Rule 6:
These complete rules (1 to 6) have to be copy&pasted into each new game's first post.

Here's the first shot.

A wild guess. They shoot horses don't they? ;)

Wild Horses Batman!! You are correct sir!!! The movie is They shoot horses, don't they?

DANGIT, I knew I shouldn't have put that one first. Oh well check out some of the other shots from this wonderful film by Sydney Pollack. Horses got 9 Oscar nods- only Gig Young won for best supporting actor, but you also get a beautiful young Jane Fonda and Suzanne York giving amazing performances...

Next time, (if I ever see it) I won't put an easy one first LOL!!

A moderator will do that for you.

One more thing: This game was pretty easy, since you've named the screenshots after the movie... click on it, and you see the name lower right. ;)

I really think you should get another chance to post a game because of this... AJUK, do you agree?

Yes I agree with Janke. It was ever so slightly unfair with such a clear clue :) Over to you for another one Darthpauly.

OK I feel stupid now...

still feel stupid....

it's easing up now...

Ok, I'm back. Thanks for squaring it up for me gentleman, and thanks for another opportunity. Could you tell this was my first rodeo?

Quick question: Is it kinda against common standards to pick a movie that is really obscure? Should it always be one that most people would know?

Not at all. I've often tried to pick some really obscure ones, and dang, people are so smart that they can find out, anyway.

Of course, they would have to be movies that have had an international theater release (so not just a domestic movie from Hungary or something like that...), and are listed on both Wikipedia and IMDB. Then, we all have a chance to get it right.

For instance, I've used a few obscure, but internationally known Finnish movies, such as Winter War, Leningrad Cowboys, I Hired a Contract Killer - and people have guessed correclty.

... and of course, if it looks like no-one can guess from the first three or four screenshots, you'd have to start giving clues...
