Their fineprint says "All items sold as-is. All sales are final" so perhaps it's all being administered by a not-so-friendly third-party, not eligible for the usual consumer protection provided by Amex. Still tempting...

What a total joke. I am an AMEX cardholder and have tried for the HG10 today twice, right on the very hour, and it says that all items are in other member's carts. I still have the 7 PM to try, but wow, what is the deal?! Is this a joke? Is this just a scam by AMEX to get millions of people to visit their site to see ads??? I am totally bummed!

Could be a total scam by phishing to get your card number. I would not touch this with a ten foot pole. Has anyone checked with Amex to confirm this is indeed their promotion?

If you have ever followed these AMEX deals they are like a contest, it is just about impossible to get these deals.

This is the way these wishlist items work, first come, first serve, like black friday online... same as amazon.

i tried waiting for the countdown on all 3 times it was availible on multiple computers with my friends armed with their amex cards~ 12pm 3pm and 7pm. Each time i clicked once the count down hit zero with the item showing up as already in other customers carts. Bummer. None of us got it.. well considering they have only 150 of them to offer- 60/50/40 .. and you would be competing against the whole US in Amex card holders that are playing.. maybe even Canada.. your chances are quite slim id say.
