Hi all, I’m new to the forum. Just got my HV20 and I’m finding that the BP-2L13 battery pack which comes with it doesn’t fix tightly enough into the battery attachment unit—or at least that’s what it seems to me. The battery pack works and supplies the power, but if I shake a bit the camcorder, the battery pack makes some slight click noises back and forth. Is that normal? If not, I may have to return my HV20 and get a replacement when new units are available. Any help, comments, or suggestions on what to do are welcome. Thanks!
Something likke this was posted before I believe.
It's like that with all HV20's.
If you really don't want it to be like this, I'd suggest to stick a tiny piece of VELCRO® (the soft side) on the top wall/area of where the battery would seat against. It will take up any slack in the battery and solve that issue.

funny thing with me is that the battery that comes with the camcorder has a perfect fit. Everything else (I use Canon original NB-2LH, Sterlingtek NB-2LH, Sterlingtek BP-2L14) jiggles around a bit.

Thanks, Mal, for your quick response. I searched the forum but coudn't find any specific messagge on this. I will follow your suggestion.
Yeah, I'd rather have the Canon HV20 be a little lose, than too tight.
This way it doesn't matter if some 3rd party battery I buy is a little bigger; it will still fit.
