Rule 1:
NO IMAGE HOSTING ON EXTERNAL SERVERS.
Images for the games need to be ATTACHED to the post, and thus uploaded to our server.
Rule 2:
TWO GUESSES PER PERSON PER POSTED PICTURE!!! Those two guesses are not allowed to be in the same post, NOR in a consecutive post.
I.e. you can post one guess, then have to wait for someone else to post: your second guess is not allowed to be immediately following your first guess.
Rule 3:
The WINNER of the game can start a new game IN A NEW THREAD.
NO ONE ELSE (unless yielded so by the winner).
Rule 4:
Once there's a winner, PLEASE post the correct name into the thread (spelled correctly,
and capitalized correctly, and not in italics or bold face.)
Rule 5:
The correct title format is: "Game" / space / "#" / number.
Example: " Game #12" (without the ")
(no space between the # sign and the number!)
Rule 6:
These complete rules (1 to 6) have to be copy&pasted into each new game's first post.
Here's one that should be a little better known than my previous offerings. Released 2009, won a few non-Oscar awards, is a "first" movie for a certain group, and I think it's pretty under-rated.
Apologies for the rubbish quality of the screenshots. I messed around with the settings and I shouldn't have done.
Back tomorrow.

South of the Border (Oliver Stones documentary)?

Of course, that would be too easy.
Break us out a hint there, Krute?

I guess if you've seen one shot of a jungle wilderness, you've seen them all.
So, just to keep it interesting, here's a bonus screenshot that's a bit more specific to this particular jungle wilderness.
I suspect that anyone who's seen the movie might remember this scene.

South of the Border (Oliver Stones documentary)?
Darn that was my next call, if you're right. You beat me to it by minutes.

Non-visual hint please?
Jim E

Non-visual hint... hmmm, lemme see....
Okay. The "jungle" segment only occupies the first sixteen minutes of the movie, and the movie is 105 minutes long, (according to the DVD case). The rest of the movie is set in a small town in California.

Arachnofobia would fit the hints, except it was made much earlier than 2009...

Aaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhh DAMMIT!!!!!! I wrote "2009", didn't I! It was "1990", of course.
And Janke is correct. It is "Arachnophobia". Excellent detecting, Janke.
My sincere apologies, guys, I have no idea how that happened. Actually, I do have an idea - I am in the middle of a personally stressful time at present, (too personal to talk about), and not quite on the ball. Trying to distract myself by coming here but apparently it's not working.
No, damn it, even that's not an excuse............................
As penance I disqualify myself from playing in the next game.
Damn!!!!!!!!!!!

You know how I found out? The registration number of that helicopter; it's a Venezuelan Police copter!
So, I knew where it was filmed. Then, the running time clinched it. I suspected 2009 was either a typo, or a re-release date.
Next game will be up in a few hours.

Ease up on yourself, brother sir.
I hope your personal problems work themselves out.
Besides, I'm a big fan of Janke as the games host, so it's a good outcome.

I caught that too, seems we were both onto 'South of the Boarder.'

Brilliant work, Janke. I never thought that number would mean anything to anyone - but I didn't count on The Jankster! :hv20-smilie07:
