I shot this at the monterey bay aquarium in california. I wish the lighting indoors was better and they allowed taking in a tripod. Shot this with 24p & 48 Tv & most of the time manually adjusting the exp.

Very nice! I was going to do that too one of these days, but we haven't found time to visit Monterey lately.

Excellent. One or two slightly blurry scenes apart, thats some of the crispest footage I've seen - up there with the Hannah Wolff band footage. In fact some of it almost looks like you've cheated and used a broadcast quality camera! How you got it so steady handheld in low light I'll never know - well done, I'm impressed!

Oh, I didn't read carefully about the tripod. That's a bummer! I guess then you could have used this one: http://dvcreators.net/steady-stick
Technically, this is not a tripod, so they would not be able to tell you anything. ;)

Thanks everyone for your feedback. About the tripod, their reason seems to be that since the place is poorly lit, people have tripped and fallen over the tripod in the past, so they don't allow it anymore.

Eugenia, thanks for the link. I would like to know if anyone has used the steady-stick you referred to and what their experience is like. I've also seen a similar one some one suggested in the DIY section.

That Steady Stick looks pretty slick. Anyone use it with the HV20 yet?

I export it to H.264 Quicktime Movie with 6000Kbps and High Quality compression settings from Final Cut.
