Hi. I did a search on this and didn't find anything. I'm wondering, is it okay for me to be shooting different types of footage on one tape? For example, shooting 24p Cinemode for part of the tape, but then maybe I plan to do a bit in slow mo, so I want to shoot the next part back at 60 fps. Do I need to get a new tape, or can I just do it all on one tape?

You can mix 24p and 60i without any problems at all. I don't know why Canon say otherwise (see the manual). Capture with HDsplit and each scene is put into a separate file. Just remember which is which if you want to process them differently!
You can mix HD and SD too, but it's a hassle capturing it into the PC. Canon are right to warn against this for normal use, but it won't break anything, just makes life more difficult.
Cheers,
David.

Yeah, I saw it warning me about crossing the frame rate streams in the manual, so I thought I'd ask. Thanks!
