Hi I'm new here to this forum and wanted to join in the conversation. Although I do not have an HV20 I am going to buy one as I am looking for a small camera, using mini dv and of excellent quality. What has been said here is true, the prices seem to be rising. My feelings about that are to wait and not get frustrated. Both Amazon and Circuit City have raised the price in the last few days and I don't want to buy from a crackpot outfit. So I will be patient and wait for my price from a good company. My price to buy is under $750 dollars. Any thoughts? Also any recommendations for the necessary batteries and power chargers would be greatly appreciated. Cheers.

Welcome.
Interesting (and good) work Richard.
What was it shot on?
You'll have problems getting these W/A, tracking shots (which is very obviously your style) with the HV-20 and definitely wont get that degree of stability with the HV-20 in a helicopter.
Why change from what you have?

I didn't shoot everything on my website. I am a professional editor and all those clips were all edited by me unless indicated. The ones I did shoot were shot with a Sony VX1000 and a Sony PD150. I need the HV20 because I need a very small camera for shooting. Thanks for looking!
