I just purchased a Panasonic TM700 to replace my HV40.
The TM700 has 32gb of internal memory, and a SD card slot.
Do I need to use a class 4 or higher SD card for this cam? My thought was no, because I will record to the 32GB of internal memory and then simply copy the footage to the SD card, and then erase the internal memory and start recording again. Since I am just copying and using the SD card as storage rather than recording to it live, speed shouldn't matter.
Am I right? Or am I missing something? Should I buy expensive $100 SD cards for this cam if I plan to only record to the internal memory and use the SD cards as storage?
Thanks.
