Beep on focus

Hi!
I have JUST unpacked my Hv20 :) I of course went on a button pressing rampage and now it beeps when it focuses. If I put my hand a few inches away from the lens it focuses then beeps, I remove my hand it focuses again then beeps... how do I turn this off?

Yer cool, how do I turn it off? It is annoying because the camera mic picks it up.

I think it has to do something with a tape being inserted or not.

It's in the menu somewhere, just look. Also try the manual. P.s if you get the online PDF version of the manual you can do a text search.

Almost the same problem...
I need to get that "beep" back. When it locks on focus in Instant AF.

Maybe it's because of the mods i use (Cine mod and 24p)

Strange, i don't even think that "instant AF" is working anymore...
I get absolutely no difference between "Normal AF" and "Instant AF"
If i cover the sensor (In instant AF) it works just the same way...
