Does anyone know how to get the youtube 1080p button to work?
I exported a file 1080p using the HDTV 1080p (H.264) setting, changed the framerate to 23.976.
The progressive filed is set to progressive, although greyed out in this template. 1920x1080, square pixels, etc.
The vid looks pretty good in the HD mode, however the 1080p slider button is not activated.
Does anyone have experience with the format that youtube likes?

Update: It seems as far as I can tell that this is a Firefox issue. The 1080p button appears in Google Chrome. I nstalled Chrome just to check ifthat was the problem However, older 1080p videos have the 1080p button in Firefox. It could be that Google has changed its policy so as to steer people to Chrome, which would be too bad.
Quality: the 720p looks a bit better from the file uploaded in 1080p, but the files are very large.
The 1080p looks only slightly

Youtube has a bug that makes it so you can't see your own 1080p videos while you're logged in. They're there, you'll just have to log out to see them.

Yes, I logged out and still had some issues. However all has been fixed by youtube as of yesterday except the rotten framerate of the 1080p, but at least the put the new slider feature in so you can select 360 all the way to 1080.

Yeah, I really like the new menu. It eliminates the guesswork as to what resolution you're getting.

PLease,
Can you explain why on the video camera HV20, there is writing "HDV 1080i" and you can have this "HDV 1080p option" in Youtube with our HV20.
DrDave, When you say :
"I exported a file 1080p using the HDTV 1080p (H.264) setting, changed the framerate to 23.976.
The progressive filed is set to progressive, although greyed out in this template. 1920x1080, square pixels, etc."
Can you explain me where and in which software did you do that ?
And when i upload my .m2t file directly from HDVsplit, youtube toggle me the 1080p button. So i need to export my final editing in .m2t ?
And upload.
Thanks you for the support.
