SWEET!

Not very ergonomically pleasing. (i.e. it's the most ANTI-Luigi Colani product I've ever seen!)

As soon as they are ready. However, the same sensor technology that will be used in the Scarlet and EPIC is being placed in RED Ones right now.

I'm pretty sure the video Bill linked at the start of this thread is from this year's CES, and I know the one Joseph linked right above you, mxwalk_h264_1k.mov (http://www.reduser.net/forum/showthread.php?t=40202) from RED Ones retrofitted with the new Mysterium-X sensor, is brand-spankin-new (I and many others pretty much brought Off Hollywood's server to its knees downloading and watching it last night when it was first posted). It looks like crazy found-light night exteriors aren't going to be just for vDSLRs much longer ... :hv20-smilie68:

You are correct. There weren't any other modules connected to the prototype...

haha. I guess you could say that if you wanted to. :hv20-smilie03:

I keep up with RED stuff (I'm the one who does the ScarletUser Podcast), so when I see questions that need to be answered, I do my best to answer them.

I'm the same way with any other product that I use...

EDIT: Well, almost any product. As much as I wanted to love it, the 7D video mode that I use occasionally isn't my thing.

Not very ergonomically pleasing.

Seems to have than it's styling from a speed-trap camera. But can't knock the specs and in the end that is all that really matters.... though would be interesting to film traffic with it *menacing grin*.
