I bought a Matthews M25 about 4 months ago, and It's been under light use. I mean very light, I only shot a couple of non action based films. Recently it started to leak fluid out of the tripod head, it's only evident in the vertical tilt but horizontally it seems to be ok. It still feels pretty smooth but it's bothering me. Is this a serious problem? and what's the best way to solve this.

I don't think there is anything you can do about it, but hopefully you can ship it for warranty. That really sucks. Did you buy this second hand? Hope you get things sorted out. Otherwise you might have to buy another head for it.

I bought it from B&H. The problem is I have a shoot coming up within a week so... I guess I have to deal with it while I shoot. How much would it cost to replace the head? I heard that the head on the m25 wasn't replaceable.

I am sorry, but I can't help you (I don't actually own the M25.) I would be surprised if the head wasn't replaceable, but you could probably do some quick research and find an answer to that question. Good luck with your shoot. Hopefully the head still has enough in it to bring you through it.
