Great movie, one of my favorites.
Let's see how many hints you guys need. The first one is right here. Go nuts. :hv20-smilie87:

Yup, it's pro-hobbyist's turn.
EDIT: Wrote this up, got distracted and then posted it. However, MalfunctioningHuman had replied in that time.

Dude, you make it sound like a chore. :hv20-smilie87:
Regardless, thanks for pointing my mistake out, I appreciate that. I really hadn't read that rule.

Well i guess we'll give Pro-hobbyist a bit more time to see if he posts and if nothing happens we could continue this thread.

That sounds reasonable, thanks. Let me know when you decide.

I am not sure who has the deciding power regarding this. Is there a specific moderator for this subforum that gets to decide? I was looking for subforum moderators and couldn't find the information.

it just seems petty. the game is posted, he can post the next, or another one at the same time. it really shouldn't matter, it's a game, and it just needs to go on, and not worry about this or that. plenty for everyone.

OK, unless pro-hobbyist starts a new thread, I'll post the second picture tomorrow no sooner than noon, PST.
My apologies again though. I feel bad about it. :(

It's all good, i don't think this is the first time this has happened. It's just a little game. :)

It's not Se7en, but that was a good guess based on the picture. :hv20-smilie77:

Alright then, thanks por putting me at ease. :)
Whenever (and if ever) I win one of these contests, I will give the change to start a game to pro-hobbyist. Let this be recorded now, and let the wrath of Arkadion fall upon me if I do not honor this promise. Or he can start Game #29, it's all good. :hv20-smilie87:

Angel Heart?

Angel Heart?
Again, that's an excellent guess. But it's not Angel Heart.
By the way, Angel Heart = Best Thriller of the 80s IMHO. (Except the end with the glowing eyes is cheesy and out of place.)

My guess is either rounders, or Eastern Promises.

My guess is either rounders, or Eastern Promises.
Good guesses, but neither of them hit the target.
OK, here's the second screen cap. Although it might seem a little generic, it is a good hint.

No Country for Old Men ?
Very good guess, but (as Charles Bronson would say) no dice. :hv20-smilie03:
If nobody can guess right, I will post another screen cap later today.

I admit the first two screen captures might have been a little too generic. Time to get serious with a well-defined closeup.

I don't know, but the way you present it it sure sounds yummy!

I have been offsite for a few days so I didn't have a chance to post. Lemme tell you, you guys have a bunch of plausible answers, but none of them hit the spot. It's not Jeepers Creepers, it's not Tremors, Fargo, Days of Heaven, or Sling Blade. I am posting from now on 1 new screen cap every 12 hours. Here is the first one: Whodathunk cows could dispense milk? :hv20-smilie03:

This screencap is from the most memorable scene of the movie. If you have seen this movie, you gotta remember this.:)

prime cut?
DING DING DING DING! Houston, we have a winner. :hv20-smilie09:
It is indeed Prime Cut. If you are a red blooded male and this movie doesn't excite you, there is something wrong with you. Gene Hackman selling young girls by the pound, Lee Marvin going after him, and Sissy Spacek when she was young and hot not wearing much of anything. Sexplotation? Maybe. Lack of taste? You decide. More fun that you can poke a stick at? Hell yeah!
There are a few scenes in this movie that are classics, but the harvester chase (screen cap above) is perhaps the best one.
Here are some of the other screen caps that I had:
