Help to transfer to Laptop

I recently purchased the HV30 and presently have the an ASUS laptop. I cannot seem to get my HV 30 to sync up with my my laptop to download the movies on the tape. Do I need any additional drivers, if so what are they?

neville, welcome to the forum. Please spend some time reading through the FAQ and subforums. In the FAQ talks about what you need to do to connect your camcorder to your computer. There is a sticky thread about troubles connecting to the computer.
