Hey guys,
Forgive me if I've already posted this, I couldn't remember. Anyways, this is a short film me and some friends made honoring the character of Rod Belding, Mr. Belding's brother from Saved By The Bell. It's about 10 minutes long, and the actual actor of Rod Belding, Ed Blatchford, loved it. We're in talks right now about shooting a sequel with him. (when you see the film, you'll probably be able to guess what'll happen in the sequel). Enjoy! Criticism is very welcome.

freakin' brilliant. But if you check your user stats, this was in the very last post you made.

all i have to say is WOW. Not at the video, but at Rod's bulge.:hv20-smilie72:
PS, the only "rod's" I know of are 80's gay pornstars LOL

Thanks guys! And it was shot on the HV30. No extra lenses, Rode VideoMic and Rode Boom pole. Thanks for the tip about the stats, didn't think to check there.

the zooming during the interview feels very awkward and doesn't seem to fit for me Scott. :P
keep it up though man.

I honestly didn't expect much going in, but that actually turned out to be pretty good.
Nicely executed and some very spot on performances, for the most part.

my only minor critique are the zooms in the video. But really nice job. The editing is fantastic. The clip of slater punching the locker was awesome !

Cool, thanks for the thoughts guys. Interesting that you both mention that about the zooms, because I've received praise for it as well. It may be one of those stylistic things that some like and others don't.
Thank you for checking it out though! I'll keep it in mind for the sequel.

That is soooo 80's! Cool! I barely can remember girls looking like that.
Besides the zoom, I like this video very much - beautiful tongue in cheek.

This was great. The editing was phenomal!
Did you do the zooms in post?
Where your actors scripted or improv?
Did you have them record their parts several times from different angles, or did you use 2 cameras?
Good job, I thoroughly enjoyed this.

Thanks guys!
The zoom's weren't post, we just did them while filming. Actors were all just improvising. We'd say "Say something like this..." and they'd just go with it. And yeah, we just shot it several times from those two angles, to make it look like we had two cameras.
