Any adapter that would allow me to equip Nikkon or Canon DSLR lenses?

so long as the lens has a manual focus, you should technically be able to use it with a standard canon or nikon mount.
However, here's why you wouldn't want to:
You won't have iris control, because there is no manual setting on these lenses for that (as far as I've seen anyway)
And, equally if not more importantly, the focal lengths listed aren't quite the same as a standard slr lens, because the sensor in the camera is smaller than the film plane in a 35mm film SLR camera. That's been my experience with my nikon D40 anyway.. I can use my older manual lenses with it, but they are slightly different focal length than they were on my old F2.
You'll have better luck picking up some cheap used lenses from ebay. Get the fastest lenses you can, and you should be set.

No. You should be looking at regular SLR lenses, not digital SLR lenses. Lenses for the new Digital SLRs (at least those I've seen) do not allow you to manually control the aperature without the camera, and they tend to be slower than a lot of other lenses available.
All the other info is in my prior post.

I'm currently using the newer version of the Canon EF 50mm F1:8, at time it was $50 bran new. They seem fine. From what I've seen with people who used the old SLR lens, their video's seem to be some what over expose.

My point is a digital slr lens is not a viable option for use with a 35mm adapter.
