I got my cam on Monday but I hadn't had anytime to use it till yesterday. I had a bit of time so I ran anround my back yard for to grab 2 minutes of footage. it's not great but thought I'd post anyway.

Nice footage!

That doesn't look like 1/24 though, more like 1/100 or even 1/250.
Maybe that's just me?

So you were obviously able to upload in the end?

Yes I just Parallels and booted XP, downloaded Filezilla and uploaded it.

Thank you rodosays21. I will post some as soon as I can. Maybe I can find some free time this weekend. I'm hoping to film a short production with it next week. It won't be anything big just some friends of mine getting together to try and make a quick movie. Should be no more than 5 mins. I'll post that up as soon as I finish that as well.

did you color grade that at all?

Two part of it were because it just didn't look right to me. The part of the white chair and the part after that going down the tree were.

That's not 1/24 though, right?
This has me really scratching my head!

I just went back now to look at my settings on my can to double check for you because i don't want to put out any mis-information. In my rush my thumb must have clicked over into AV mode without me noticing. So it was shot in AV at 1.8. I now don't know what the shutter was, sorry.

I also wanted to add that I have the brightness, color depth, and contrast turned down 1.

Sorry for the confusion Mal. :hv20-smilie01:

Whoa, I love the DOF in those shots. And that's not even using a Letus35/whatever?

Thanks! I was trying for as shallow a DOF as I could get with just the cam itself. I want a Letus35a, but till then I am trying to expirement with the setting to see how much DOF I can get.

That closeup shot of Your face? The background was blurry, how far was the camera away from you and zoomed in?

Either way, post some more clips, the stuff is like porn!

The camera was a full arms length away. I was not zoomed in, I was zoomed out completely.

So it was shot in AV at 1.8.

That's all I was able to ascertain from the cam.

This is something I shot earlier today. My sister came by so I asked her if she would be a test subject. It came out a little under exposed so the footage is a little dark.

I tried to have her moving to see if I could get the dreaded "wobble", but as far as I can tell I didn't see any.

For the new footage?
I used from 1/24 to 1/48 I believe and then stepped down the exposure as necessary. I might have gone higher than 1/48 but I can't recall. We had to do it real far because she was about to leave.
