Here is my first 2-Camera mix of local L.A. band "Killola" performing for charity.

Hope you enjoy it. Be sure to check the HD version if your computer can handle it.

Feedback greatly appreciated.

I dunno what to make of this. 2 cameras, one locked off, one operated. Look at how the pro's do it and copy them :)

Not sure if you picked up the audio live or from the mixer board, but if it was live, stop that and use the mixer board. They had plenty of mics picking up individual singers and musicians I expect the mixer board would have had a MUCH better sound.

Good luck on the next project. I did like the close shots of the lead singer. Maybe a little to 'low' (faces shouldn't be shot to low or to high) but the framing was good.

Thanks for the tips guys. Yea, I thought that I was a bit too low filming. They played about about 8 songs, the 1st 3 songs were low, next 2 were a bit higher and the last 3 were eye level.

I used 24p @ 1/48 shutter. I've never used that setting before even though I've had my camera since 2007 and I thought as a test I would shoot at 24p just to see how it would look.

Next time if I get a chance I will for sure plug into the board and have better sound. :)

The singer was straight out of the '80s! I loved it! :)

Very good effort, but I agree with the others for the future.
