I'd like to do my own manual still image transfers using a file browser like Windows Explorer. When I plug in my HV20, various already-installed transfer programs offer to transfer my images for me eg The Windows Scanner and Picture Wizard, but the camera/SD card itself doesn't appear in Windows Explorer as a drive.
Are there any USB drivers available just for recognition of the camera as a USB device, or do I have to install ZoomBrowser (which I don't want to do, nor do I want to pull the card out each time I want to transfer)?
