Was trying to buy but the site apparently is having some tech prob that the admin is aware of according to the splash screen. Either you're selling a hell of a lot of them and the server crashed or you're missing out on us late comers. i hope there's a one day extension instore for us. 11:53PM Baltimore Est...;-) ciao...ps love those accessories you have...

Nope. You just have to enter the coupon code hv20member when you're checking out. It will drop the price by $300. If you experience any problems, just place the order and mention in the comment section that you're from the boards. Am I correct in assuming this is the regular retail version with a US warranty and not one of those imported from Japan non-US warranty deals all over ebay? If so I'm ready to buy.

Just put in an order through the regular site since the HV20 member checkout page is acting up again so I had to put a note in that I am coming there from here. I talked to the owner for about 20 minutes, very informative and helpful chap. Now just don't forget the $300 off and I'll be happy ;-)

Well, since I'm not going to be sitting here from now until midnight to get my reply I just went ahead and ordered the camera. The member checkout page worked fine for me.

Thanks Ten Ounce! With the review record on reseller ratings you have, I guess I shouldn't be worried, but I'd hate to get something this spendy (and from some of the things I've read across the net, possibly breakage prone) without a warranty. It would be nice if that information was available on the website.
