Open for thoughts. I know Amazon got down low to 858 or so this past week. What are my odds on that for the future? Should I wait?
890.19 through dell Small Business right now with a coupon I was given. They have a 10% off promotion, and if you can snag a coupon, an additional 10%.
Awaiting some feedback! Thanks!

Also to add, I don't pay sales tax where I live and dell is offering free 3-5 day shipping!

lastly, I've also noticed that the Sony HDR-HC5 is available for $840.73 which in itself is another great price. I know what the consensus is here on these boards on which is better, but with these prices - what's the consensus?

well for myself(don't own one yet but will soon),
the main reason is 24p. was considering the hc5 but for a few $ more, why be stuck w/ interlaced footage when i can have the option of 24p? for some, 24p doesn't matter and may just be an eye sore. i've spent countless hours rendering back in the late 90's using cinelook and similar such programs. 24p is just a godsend for me. note, i do like 1080i as well. as a little kid, i remember asking myself, "Why does Three's Company look this way and the "A" Team look that way?" :hv20-smilie51:

Taky, you had better luck than me.
I bought mine last weekend for $867 .. 2nd day shipping .. still haven't received it. :(
UPS around here is run by a bunch of morons!
Tracking listed below, runs from bottom to top. Destination is Mesquite, TX. Notice it actually made it there Wed 16th (on schedule) and out for delivery .. then for some reason they shipped it off to Austin, San Antonio, and then back ..
Guess I'll see if they can manage to deliver the package tomorrow.
