Warning this is still a "work in progress." version.
Parts:
1 Plastic cutting board
6 bolt
cost= approximately = $5
And of course you'll need a drumell that can cut in circular motion and some hot glueing to go along with it.

One caution, if I may: I think most plastic cutting boards are made of HDPE (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hdpe), which generally resists the efforts of most paints and adhesives -- when I worked for a sign company, we'd rout lettering into "two tone" slabs of the stuff to make "vandal resistant" signs for schools and playgrounds: somebody tags it, you can literally wipe off the spray paint or magic marker with a dry cloth.
To join pieces safely, you can either electronically weld it (ha!) or use mechanical fasteners (i.e. nuts and bolts).

At the end I'mma use the nuts and bolt to bolt the pieces together.

Glad to hear it! :hv20-smilie77:
One day while working at the aforementioned sign company, a sales rep from 3M dropped by boasting about their new epoxies that could "glue anything to anything."
I immediately lopped a paint-stick-sized scrap of HDPE sign stock in two, handed it to him, and said "Come back with those two pieces glued together and I can guarantee you an order."
Never saw the guy again (true story) ...

Quick question... How do you detach the camera from this rig (and the camera from the adapter)
Thanks

Nicey! I likey your usey of yy at the endy of wordys.
Great design, but is the HV20 simply balanced atop the board, or is there a "machanical fastener" threaded through.

If you look down in the last picture of the side view, you can see the black nob next to the HV20. I used the same nob with 1/4 x 20 bolt to connect the HV20 to the rig.

Here's almost the final version of my rig with Daniel's Achromat unit together. Currently using only one xtension tubes. Still waiting for the other one. So I'm still thinking about modifying the rig a little bit more.
the updates:
* Cutted parts of the back and made slot for ejecting the battery.
* moved the adapter holder back to fit the cable.

what archos are you using as your external monitor?

It's been awhile since I used this archos, it was damaged by the strenght of a magnet. A Giant one. I think it's the Archo AV400 the 80GB one. It would be nice to get the 704 wi-fi version.
