Hi guys

I just got my hv40 but when I come to capturing the video through avid I keep getting this error message that reads (no input signal present)

I dont have a clue what to do

I can rewind and mark in and out points but for some reason when I click on the video track it freezes and that messages comes up.

Also points to add I think it might be an american model, I got it of ebay with the seller saying it works with both pal and ntsc, not sure if that might be something to do with the problem

Cheers

Another point I have just noticed. Windows movie maker doesnt recognize it also?!

I tryed to see if the problem happened even when there was no deck and it error message came up again. Is there something wrong witht the computer maybe?

Please read the FAQ. There are Stickies for common problems and several for connection issues like yours. We also have various subforums for a reason, please post to the proper one. Also, always do a search before posting and whenever possible, please post to an existing related thread rather than start a new one. Welcome to the forum.:hv20-smilie77:
