I'd like to point out that any particular clip may render / export with significantly better quality in one format over another.
Why this is so: I couldn't say. But I was pleased to find this out.
I had a clip that I exported in Flash and it was good / okay. But when I exported it in Quicktime using the same settings it looked very good: it was much sharper.
So I will be selecting my export formats from among the most popular ones but make my final decision based upon achieving the best video quality.
