$1099 at circuit city -- huh?

Guys I keep seeing posts about it being < 1000 but circuitcity.com shows 1099 with no discounts. What gives?

Looks like you might have missed the $884.95 price point for now. Looks like they are out of stock at the stores near our house. I assume their weekly special will be on their tomorrow. Glad I got mine when I did.

yep you're right, the one near here was out of stock as well.. The guy mentioned that Sunday is the day to check prices though, as you said.

CC cut its price because canon dropped the price of the hg10 from msrp $1299 to $1099, I think in the re-pricing, the hv20 dropped from its price also.
