Finally went through the whole 24P workflow with some test footage. Sweet!

I've always liked clouds, especially accelerated ones where you can see their character in more timely action. And I thought it was funny watching those little cars scoot around on the highway.

Would you like to share your 24p workflow in some detail. I'm interested.

JM :)

1) HDVSplit to pull the video from the camcorder.
2) Windows reverse pulldown workflow from here: http://eugenia.gnomefiles.org/2007/07/13/canon-hv20-24p-pulldown/

3) Create a new Adobe Premiere project and import the video.
4) Export using Media Encoder. Flash/Sorensen 640x480, ~1kbps video rate, 80k mp3 audio.
5) Upload to youtube.

I'm been playing with using OnLocation do record straight to hard drive. I tape some long concerts so I'm considering this option to save the time of HDVSplit downloading all the tapes afterward.
