How to set hv30 to manual focus? i only have IAF and AF

haha hijacking my own thread. I FOUND OUT HOW TO TAKE MY HV30 OFF AUTOFOCUS! its a joyous day.

i would like to know about aperture value, gain, and ways to adjust DOF on the hv30 if its possible and how to do so.

On mine, you press the little silver button next to the focus wheel on at the front of the camera on the left side.
I think it sez 'focus".

i really tried but i couldnt find anything that helped me. (moving from auto to p, i thought that meant photo).

its like i have a toy that i thought was okay, then found out it had giant laser beams on it. thank you for answering my question by the way.

Well you really didn't try hard enough, if you go the the Problems and Observation section, there is a sticky with the answers you need.
