"LA-NY" (3:21)
http://elmerlang.com/LA-NY07.html

A friendly challenge. Not to a duel, more like a jazz cutting contest. If you have a comeback, don't state it, make it.

Though it might be nice to hear comments, too.

ROFL! How did the homeless guys take to your filming them (at least the non-sleeping one)?

Hey folks, I appreciate your checking out the flick.

A couple bucks can get you what you want. It was either 5 or 3, I forget.

Maybe there could be a contest/film fest. "Pick your pair." London-Paris. Moscow-Beijing. Buenos Aires-Rio de Janeiro. Paris, MO-Paris, TX. (I'm from MO.)

best...

Nicely done. I've watched several of your films and really like your work.

Thanks, though I've watched most of my films and I have quibbles all over the place. :hv20-smilie70:

If LA's only negative is the land, I'd take it over NYC also. But i love trees.

I enjoy the things you create.
I remember seeing a piece you did in a post about how to get the camera to focus on the blade of a knife. I enjoyed that as well.

You put your tools to great use and that makes me happy.
Thank you for sharing.

O, did you mean this one?

Or one of the other 50+ films on my website http://elmerlang.com :hv20-smilie72:

Am I a slut for applause or what?

I had meant Like Bloody Lips, but since posting I've watched maybe 10 of your films and shown maybe five to two different people.

I really like what you do.
I'd like to offer my music to you, if you're ever looking for something to put in one of your films. I have three albums of songs available at my site (http://www.thehappyplanets.com). I'd say 1/3rd of it is instrumental, so maybe you'll find something useful to you.

Anyway, again, thanks for sharing. (And Telemess was a fantastic idea! Got my friend and I talking about what the story of our lives would be if they were told solely by our voice mail messages. Pretty awful thought, in our cases!)

I appreciate the offer! It's strange you should make it since last night I checked out your site and listened to some pieces--excellent stuff! I'll keep it in mind.

Glad you liked 'Telemess'!

all the best, :hv20-smilie70:

Wow, I checked out some more tunes on your site 'the happy planets'. I really like your music! And the site looks great, very nicely put together. 'Ohio' and 'Symmetric' off the 'death; midwest.' album were probably my favs of the night. Good luck!
