This is my first post and have not checked all the posts to
see if my question has been answered yet. (Sorry if it has)
I bought the HV20 for school and independent animation. I
plan to do a lot of green screen work. HDV sucks and would
like to move to 4:2:2, DVCPro HD. So far the only way I see
to capture with the HDMI out is the IO HD from AJA. Seeing
as how I have a Macbook Pro and could not buy an Intensity
card.
I'm wondering if anybody out there has found a solution to
capturing HDMI into a Macbook Pro with some sort of
express card that doesn't cost a pile of money.
(A component capture solution could also work for me, but
HDMI would be nice.)
