When I was looking at the hv20 on Amazon.com, I went through the checkout almost to the Credit card part and stopped - but is the $884.00 the final price? IS there tax on that or is it included?

It depends on if you are buying from amazon, or buying from one of the amazon's vendor. Buying from Amazon has no sale tax involved. But if you buy from one of the vendors who is located in the same state you are, they will take sale tax from you very likely.

I think it is buying from Amazon directly...that is good news because it is only $884.00 right now -= which is a great price!

I've bought quite a few things from Amazon and Amazon's vendors & I've had good luck with no taxes. That place drives me nuts. Everytime I'm on their site I find something "One-Click" away from a purchase. I buy lots of CDs & DVDs from them. "Caiman" is one I seem to hit the most.

I'm about to buy something a little bigger soon - The Primera Autoprinter, Bravo Se Publisher. I think I can field record a show or a campjam, edit, design an insert, cover, DVD label and produce a DVD product ready to sell entirely in the field within a day of the show.
