Hi all,

anyone succeeded in finding this gem in the Netherlands? Or does anyone know when we will be able to buy it here?

I can't wait any longer!!

Hi Goep,

The HV20 is available for a retail price of EUR 1199 at the major electronic warehouses like mediamarkt. On the web the best buy seems to be at www.fotoquelle.nl for EUR 849. There is however a big BUT, the camera is low on supply, and the internet stores are low on the delivery list. It is a trade-off get it today at retail price or wait for being served...

you're kidding...

I ordered from fotoquelle, but there is no way of knowing when I can get one from them.
And come on! €350,- price difference??? Makes you wonder how much profit is being made by the regular shops...

Guess i'll try my patience a bit longer.

I ordered from FotoQuelle on april 23th, I got an email yesterday saying that I can collect the package at my local drugstore..........

I was sceptical too for € 849 + € 9,00 handling and postage, but everything seems to turn ou well.

I'll be back to tell you how everything works out. Can't wait........:)

I ordered the camera at Funprice.nl for 949. It was in stock when I ordered it but there were probably a few before me, now I'm waiting till the 3rd of June.

Can't wait

I got it monday 21th last week (€858,00)..........man this is ONE SWEET CAM!!!:hv20-smilie77::hv20-smilie110:

I've been shooting everything I could for a week: Just in auto (So far not much artistic experimenting yet) it already shoots awesome pictures.
Incredible macro possibilities, you can actually push the lens on the subject and it is still sharp. Very fast (instant) autofocus. OIS is very, very good, if you are a bit steady with you arm you wont need a tripod for wide angle.
I could go on and on.........

The things coming this way are extra packs, charger, wide angle and a monopod (ordered the Manfrotto 676B with quick release head)

I am a happy filmer! :hv20-smilie09:

858 EUR? That probably wasn't in the Netherlands then?
