What's going on in Premiere Pro 2.0

Uploaded a short three minute clip in Premiere Pro 2.0 and it has been indexing for quite some time. Normally don't have this problem so I'm wondering what's going on differently that I boogered up. Anyone know if I need to close out all programs or what?:hv20-smilie36:

When you import a m2t file to premiere, it will start indexing then audio conforming. It's normal.

Yes I realize that, however it's taking an abnormally long time. For example, the aforementioned four minute clip has been 'indexing' since midnight
