I "acquired" a copy of Adobe Master Collection CS3. Premiere and After Effects both installed fine with the exception of getting messages like "After Effects was unable to install additional formats and effects" and "Additional codecs that are not included in the trail version of Premiere Pro must be installed"

When they both try to install they fail. They both are functional otherwise...i just cant export to a video format other than AVI.

Anyone know of a way around this?? I've seen others with similar problems on other boards but no solutions... Any pointers would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks!!!

Pirated versions don't work because the codecs are blocked. The stupid hackers who unlocked it, only unlocked the main app, not the codecs. You get what you paid for. Same thing for the pirated version of Vegas.

If you need a video editor, shell the money.

Trial version lacks the MPEG codec as it is licensed from a third party vendor. Pay for the full version will do.

And for future reference, we don't look favorably on any discussions in here involving attempted software piracy. If it's your intent to use pirated software then find another forum for help with it.
