Sorry if this is a duplicate, but at the time of writing it seems I cannot post threads in The Tavern.

Hi,

I'm a Dutch student at the school of Arts and Technology. But I don't like it. :hv20-smilie68:
It's probably the school part. The topic is okay.

I've always wanted to be able to record video, but it has proven to be too expansive. Though recently I managed to buy the HV20, right at the dawn of the HD era. Seems like I was born at the right time. :hv20-smilie55:

I came across this forum when searching about capture workflows, and decided a subscription will probably broaden my HV20 knowledge.

Here's the first serious composition I did using the HV20, in case anyone's interested:

Ha! Good work Redsandro, welcome to the Forum. I think you'll benefit being here, log on often and contribute what you can.

I think the HV20 is a great student cam, kind of a 21st century equivalent of the K3 (http://www.cinematography.com/forum2004/lofiversion/index.php?t776.html) -- not particularly "user friendly," but learning how to overcome its quirks will teach you a lot about photography and reward you with images better than most cameras in its price range.
