View Full Version : Forum lagging?

Sorry to be nagging as a new member :hv20-smilie29: but I posted a thread in the bottom forum and it doesn't show up. Then my profile sais 0 posts. Strike on 'F5' and it's not there. So when I finally re-post my thread it sais "You've already posted a similar thread in the past 5 minutes."

Is the forum lagging? Or are new threads manually approved by moderators before being visible?

(Hmmm this one shows up immediately..)

I posted the same thread in this forum and it won't appear either. I think I've accidentally discovered a parsing bug. The combination of words in the post prevents it from being posted.

Looks like I am a blind idiot.

Thank you for posting! Your post will not be visible until a moderator has approved it for posting. You will now be taken back to the forum. If you opted to post a poll, you will now be allowed to do so.

:hv20-smilie01:

MODS: Please approve only one of my three similar posts (2 threads and 1 reply) as I've come in and immediately made a mess! :hv20-smilie15:

Hello Redsandro,
yes, new members' posts are automatically checked for SPAM.
If the "SPAM-o-Matic 3000 DELUXE" thinks it's spam, your post will have to be approved first.

It's not fool-proof, but a good measure to protect our members from SPAM.

Ah I see.

I would change the title of this thread to
Forum lagging? No, it's SPAM-o-Matic 3000 DELUXE.
But I cannot change it.

That way, pherhaps more n00bs would appear smarter than me. ;)
