PE 4 and Vista equals?

I have a PC with 4 GB RAM and 2.5G dual core AMD. And Vista Home premium.
Ive been trying to use PE 4 but it is miserable. For instance it won't let me use drag tags to clips and much worse.

1) Is anyone aware if Adobe has made patches for Vista users?

2) Is there anyway to capture HDV and convert and edit in a less demanding format?

3) Anyone with good experience with Ulead, Pinnacle, or Vegas while using Vista?

Call me crazy, but it might help to look around this forum a little bit, especially the Stickies. I'm using Vegas Pro and Platinum on a Vista 64 box with few issues. So are many others.

Why the heck are you asking us this instead of going to Adobe's site and look for yourself?

HDV is not demanding at all. Especially if you switch to preview/draft quality on your Premiere. If your PC still can't manage it, buy a new PC.

Vegas works fine.
