I really need a wide angle lens for my HV20 by Sunday. Would equipment rental places carry a wide angle lens for a consumer hd camera like the HV20?
Otherwise, know anyone in the Dallas Tx area that would sell an accessory like that in stock?

Keep in mind that you can get a step-up (or step-down) ring to adapt the HV20's 43mm threads to a variety of lens sizes.
For example, I use a 58mm (thread) wide angle lens with mine.

I could overnight ship you a Raynox lens with the adapter if you're interested. Let me know. :hv20-smilie77:

That's a great lens. I just bought the 52mm version and am very happy with it.

Thanks Ten Ounce. I just realized that the space I was shooting in was too small to get the shots I wanted, and all my actors and space rental is lined up for Sunday.
Goose, I'm in Dallas.

Thanks Ten Ounce! Just screwed it on and I'm liking it.
I'm about to go into downtown and get some wide-angle footage of tourists wandering about beneath the buildings.

Thanks again brint. Glad everything arrived on time and safely. Enjoy your lens and give me some feedback on the "extra gift" you received. :)
